On July 4, Wareham Community Television will host “Antiques by the Road Show” from 10 a.m. to noon in the WCTV parking lot, across from the Town Green. Anyone is welcome to stop by and get free evaluations of their family heirlooms, collectibles, and other old treasures. “This is the third year we’ve had a Fourth of July show in our parking lot, it’s something we like to do for the community,’’ said WCTV Executive Director Jay Heard, in a press release. “It provides a free appraisal service for the folks bringing in their heirlooms, and WCTV creates an interesting show for everyone else.” The show will air live on Comcast Channel 9 and Verizon Channel 30, and will be rebroadcast later by WCTV. “It’s all about the antiques, it’s always fun to see what people bring in,” said Christian Fernandes, the show's producer.
