Raymond Loewy
“Raymond Loewy: Designs for a Consumer Culture” at the National Heritage Museum in Lexington shows how the French-born designer Raymond Loewy influenced everything from the streamlined look of products in the 1930s to the snappy mid-century modern Frigidaire.

Loewy, who was born in France, emigrated to New York in 1919 and became a pioneer in the field of industrial design.
