The company was also involved in several small scandal around privacy and accusations of deceptive practices. It rebranded in 2005, the report said. CoreBrand said the company needs to do more research to identify what can help H&R Block capitalize on consumers’ familiarity with the brand and tap into that to improve their favorability ratings.
