Earnings schedule for selected movie studios

In July, companies with movie studios will begin releasing their earnings reports for the latest quarter. It will generally cover the April-June period, though some companies have fiscal quarters that depart from that.

Here’s the schedule for selected movie industry companies. Dates for some companies, including 20th Century Fox owner News Corp., are not yet known.

July 31: DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc.

Aug. 1: Time Warner Inc. (Warner Bros.), Comcast Corp. (Universal Pictures)

Aug. 2: Sony Corp.

Aug. 3: Viacom Inc. (Paramount)

Aug. 7: The Walt Disney Co.end of story marker
