Honeywell’s David M. Cote is set to address Boston College’s Chief Executives’ Club of Boston
David M. Cote, chairman and CEO of Honeywell International, is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at Boston College’s Chief Executives’ Club of Boston luncheon next Wednesday.
In 2010, Cote was appointed by President Obama to the bipartisan National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility, and Cote’s speech at BC’s Chief Executives’ Club is expected to focus on America’s debt crisis and the looming threats to American competitiveness, the club said in a media advisory.
Honeywell invents and manufactures products in the areas of aerospace, automation and control solutions, performance materials and technologies, and transportation systems. It reports roughly $36.5 billion in annual revenues, and it has 132,000 employees, including 3,000 in Massachusetts. Honeywell has operations in Canton, Danvers, and Acton.
Thomas J. May, president and chief executive of Northeast Utilities, is the host for the event, the club said.
