PTC Creo brings Super Sentai Series’ Power Rangers to life for Bandai
PTC Inc., a Needham company specializing in product lifecycle management software and computer-aided design, said that toy manufacturer Bandai Co. Ltd. will use PTC Creo software to develop and refine such product lines as its Super Sentai/Power Rangers brands.
Bandai has been using various PTC design software for several years.
“PTC Creo provides Bandai with the flexibility to use both direct and parametric modeling approaches for product design,” PTC said in a press release. “By allowing parametric feature-based models to be changed with direct modeling techniques and enabling the changes to be recorded in the parametric model, PTC Creo helps reduce the impact of late stage design changes and helps increase design agility.”
Founded in 1985, PTC has more than 6,000 employees. The company was previously known as Parametric Technology Corp.
