Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce will honor Deval Patrick, Anne Finucane, and David McCullough as ‘distinguished Bostonians’
Governor Deval Patrick, Anne Finucane of Bank of America, and author and historian David McCullough are the 2013 inductees into the Academy of Distinguished Bostonians.
The academy is a way that the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce honors individuals for their achievements as leaders and for their contributions to the Greater Boston economy and community.
Patrick, Finucane, and McCullough are scheduled to be honored at the chamber’s 2013 Annual Meeting on May 8 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
In a statement, Paul Guzzi, president and chief executive of the Greater Boston Chamber, said, “This year, the chamber will honor three inspirational leaders who have each achieved remarkable professional success, and have made lasting contributions to our business, government, and civic communities.”
Finucane is global strategy and marketing officer and Northeast president of Bank of America, and serves as a member of the company’s executive management team.
McCullough’s books include “The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris,” “John Adams,” and “Truman.”
