BayPoint Builders, a Newton firm that provides construction management and general contracting services, said that Mark David is its new president and chief executive.

Most recently, David was the president of construction at Jones Lang LaSalle, a large real estate firm.

David is also a board member and executive committee member of the Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts and a board member and past president of the Massachusetts Building Congress.

Jeff Sulkin was president of BayPoint Builders. He resigned for personal reasons after 10 years, the company said.
