Weisberg joined Auction Holdings Inc., or AHI, last year as chief operating officer after leaving Zipcar, the car-sharing service, where he was chief marketing officer.

Weisberg’s resume also includes a stint at Domino’s Pizza, where he led the introduction of online ordering, AHI’s press release noted.

“Rob brings the precise mix of passion for the business, strategic insight, and e-commerce know-how that I have been seeking to guide AHI over the next decade of growth as we continue to deliver unparalleled consumer marketing expertise and valuable Internet technology to the live auction industry,” Adam Kirsch, AHI’s chairman and founder, said in a statement.

AHI owns Auctionzip.com, Artfact.com, Invaluable.com, and RFC Systems.
