    "Supergroups" You'd Like To See...

Just thinking about the reunion of Ben Folds Five and the fact that Ben would make a killer keys man for an inspired 'supergroup' of musicians.  With the success of Robert Plant's Band Of Joy and the forthcoming Superheavy, featuring Jagger, Joss Stone, Damien Marley, the trend is picking up even more than the trend of performing whole classic albums live.

Granted, many "supes" are far less than advertised, though many have knocked it out of the park.  Them Crooked Vultures and Monsters Of Folk are recent standouts for me.

Caveat: ** Band members MUST be alive **

    Here's mine:

    Ben Folds - piano, keys
    PJ Harvey - vocals
    Derek Trucks - guitars
    Rich Robinson - guitars
    Jeff Ament - bass
    Steve Shelley - drums

Robert Plant and PJ Harvey. I've always wondered what they would sound like together.

it would be nice. I also wouldn't mind seeing Hughes and Coverdale together. There voices blended so well together.
