    Guilty Pleasures

To sort of piggyback on the 'good music/bad music' thread...

I've always been into R&R growing up, the harder the better, but there have been a few exceptions that back then I would have never admitted liking to my friends.

For example, I just heard Dionne Warwick singing Heartbreaker and I was reminded about how much I loved her voice and, in general, the music of Burt Bacharach.

Also, she is IMHO a very lovely woman :-)

Correction. Hearbreaker was written by the BeeGees. Even worse!

I'm really too old to feel guilty about any musical pleasures, but I'll list a few that real rock fans may think qualify.

    The Archies

    The Association

    BeeGees

    Herman's Hermits

    KC & The Sunshine Band

    Gary Lewis & the Playboys

    Jo Dee Messina

    Rascal Flatts

I could be on board with all of them except ...

K.C. and the Sunshine Band ------- UGGHH.

Agree with ABBA and The Carpenters.

And I'll add ... Olivia Newton John. She had/has a great voice (and was hot back in the day).
