    Happy Winter Solstice

    One day late.

As you know, the Winter Solstice takes place on December 21st of the year, known as the darkest day of the year, or the day that has the least amount of daylight in the Northern hemisphere. As of today, therefore, daylight will increase.

To mark the winter solstice, I participated in a yoga tradition that I'd never heard of until this past week.   It was meditative and physically challenging at the same time, and overall, it was a wonderful experience that I'd gladly participate in again.   108 Sun Salutations in a row.

A few songs for darkness and / or light or anything in between, please add if you're in the mood and awake.  :)

Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
    Blackout - Scorpions
Good Day Sunshine - The Beatles
    Sovereign Light Cafe - Keane

It wasn't much lighter out today, was it?  It seems even darker, in fact.   Pitch.

Since the album was mentioned in another thread:

"Beware of Darkness" - George Harrison

Great to see you, Mrmojo.    Your avatar pic was in the "best photographs" of the year for Boston.   :)      My best to you, too.
