New Order Tours U.S. This Fall

For the first time in 7 years, New Order is reuniting for a slew of tour dates, including 7 U.S. cities (and this time with original bassist Peter Hook).

It should be a cool show....dubbed as they are by me as the godfathers of techno and the only dance band that really mattered.  They were real genre-killers and crossed over into everything.  The hooks and beats are well-known standards, and I can't think of anyone who doesn't like at least one NO song.

Too bad the closest they will get to Boston is Roseland in NYC....

Nice. I have some friends that saw them recently and said they sounded great. The Band has a huge East Coast following, so I am kind of surprised they are only playing one area show.

    Edit.
