jessey you started this thread buddy...now you're getting some fallout with AC/DC, Leppard and even the Fab Ones getting dissed...I'm not surprised...I still remember when a friend of mine whose musical taste I respect told me he hated the Beatles...I was shocked and thought he couldn't be totally serious but he was.

I am good with all of it.
The Hysteria album by Def Lep is a very strange recording in a lot of ways. It was a departure from their basic sound. When you consider the following:
Rick Allen's accident
The failed attempts with Jim Steinman as producer
The need to surpass Pyromania
Mutt Lange's ego - afterall, he did help bring them the new heights.
By 1987, many bands had already started trying to duplicate the winning formula of Pyromania. For me, Rocket, Women, Gods of War, Run Riot and Hysteria are terriffic songs.
AC/DC will always have their detractors.
As for The Beatles, they are hated by many. One guy named Scaffudi (Something like that) wrote a complete diatribe about how bad they are. But Boogeyman's comment is almost troll like. But I accept it. You can hate the Yankees but will acknowledge the greatness of Mo, Ruth, etc. The Beatles changed the way people looked and listened to popular music.
