What was your favorite moment from the Boston Strong concert?

With a plethura of performing acts, which included Aerosmith, New Kids on the Block, James Taylor, and Dropkick Murphys at the May 30 Boston Strong concert, it may be hard to peg down a favorite moment. If you attended or watched online and have one in mind, submit it and feel free to discuss here.

Carole King and James Taylor performing so many amazing songs including "Up on the Roof." Hearing the whole Garden singing along with them. I hope Boston can hold on to the feelings of love and unity.

Come on now. Plethura means too many or excess. Its connotation is negative. How about the word abundance instead!

Live Nation has done a grave disservice to the One Fund, the citizens of Boston and Mass and most of all the victims and their families. Live Nation didn't want to let local channels broadcast the concert that they couldn't provide for hours and then poorly when they did.

What should have been a heartfelt fundraiser and morale booster for the entire region was instead a fiasco.

Live Nation should be held accountable for this mess. Their focus seems to be more on self-promotion and making a buck than what this should have been: helping Boston to heal.

Live Nation should donate a portion of ALL their concerts in Boston this summer or start losing their permits.

When it finally worked, the streaming was ok. Occasional breaks for "buffering". But when Dane Cook came on, there was nothing that said he blocked the streaming. Many, including me, thought Live Nation screwed up again and gave up. Pretty sad.

Very disappointing for sure.  The lame explanation that I read was that network TV (one station, not all of them) broadcast a fundraiser country music concert for the OK tornado victims -- and they could not broadcast another concert 2 nights in a row.

Really?  Very lame, especially since our concert was announced and planned a *month* ago and the networks should have planned for it.    No disrespect to OK, but our concert should also have been broadcast.

Totally blew a chance to raise money when there are thousands of people who would have loved to see the concert and call in a donation.

I just saw some nice comments in the Boston Globe.  People that were there had the time of their lives and said it was a night they'd never forget; I'm happy the concert was a success for those that were there.

I tried watching the feed for a while, but it was terrible.I couldn't deal with it.Hopefully,PBS or Youtube will have a  watchable version of the whole show.I ended up watching Carole King get her Gershwin award at the White House instead.

And I agree,it should have been shown live on TV.It would have been a great opportunity to raise funds for the victims. It was a good idea with poor execution.

Re: What was your favorite moment from the Boston Strong concert?

Why didn't Don Law have this broadcast out on all the channels with the donation phone number on the screen like other benefit concerts do? Why was Dane Cook allowed to block his "new" content? I'll tell you why: shear shelfishness. They cared more about making money for themselves than getting maximum donations. Other recent benefits raised much more money by being promoted and broadcast live. This was pathetic.

I ran the marathon this year. I have been giving to the One Fund and I would have given more if I knew this concert was on TV. But, this benefit was poorly organized and promoted. I didin't even know about it until friends emailed me this morning asking if it was on TV.

Shame, shame, shame on Don Law and Dane Cook. Enjoy your "rights" to this concert.

All the performers were outstanding and if I had to pick a short list, here it goes.

The most emotional performance goes to Donnie Walhberg’s speech and NKOTB set.

The funniest and most healing set was definitely Lenny Clarke.

The best overall musical performance is really hard to pick.  I think it’s a tie between Jason Aldean, Carole King and James Taylor.

Re: What was your favorite moment from the Boston Strong concert?

I wish it had been broadcast so that the entire nation could have experienced what was truly an amazing and memorable night.  All of the performers were a class act with nothing but love and support for Boston.  Carole King and James Taylor are a dynamic duo but the hometown boys of NKOTB, complete with their Bruins jerseys, brought the Boston magic, especially Joey Mac as he retold the story of crossing the finish line ten minutes before the attack.  I hope the feeling of Boston Strong is something that stays with this city forever.

Loved all of the concert!  Peter Wolf should always perform with J. Geils.  Extreme should get back together.  Carole King and James Taylor are always great.  All of the performers did a wonderful job!  What a good feeling to give to a great cause and get to see all of these amazing performances!  Thank you:)

J Geils - just awesome just plain amazing - so incredible to see such a great band perform

Dropkick Murphys - THANK YOU for a great performance

Extreme - those songs took me back to a better place if only for a few moments as did NKOTB - Lenny Clark was too funny as was Steve Sweeney , I actually allowed myself to laugh wholeheartedly for the first time in weeks

Boston was great, Aerosmith was great Carole King is flippin amazing - what a voice - James Taylor is always great

Donnie - the night was magic brother thank you thank you thank you

Richard Blanco's poem was so good - not a dry eye in the house after he said "and a son, our son"

Peter Wolf & J.Geils are a joy. Boston kicking off the show was a treat. Steve Sweeney nailed it. Carole King was electric and Aerosmith, well, they brought it for our town.

NKOTB/BND and B2M were good. Not my style, but they do their thing very well.

Jason what's his name- he had a lot of fans in the house, but I would have instead been happy with some Jonathan Richman stage time...

Carole King and James Taylor were fantastic! I couldn't see a lot of the show online, as we all know the problems, but was happy when I did get to see these two perform! I will probably watch the replay, but I'm sure a lot of the profanity will be cut, which loses a lot in the translation.
