[QUOTE]I love the Milford Mandardin and always went there when visiting the area, but last time I was there I went to stop by and they were closed for renovations, hopefully the new incarnation will be good.

It has re-opened and still called Mandarin. Having been to the old place a few dozed times you will be happy to know the new place is by far better. Food tastes cleaner and fresher. Yummy!

    The best General Gao's Chicken....
Everything is always so fresh, the chicken comes crispy and lightly sauced. The wonton soups is a clear broth with a nice dumpling and fresh lettuce chopped on top.
    YUMMMM
Wish they would open in the South End!

[QUOTE]First off, chicken teriyaki, pork fried rice, crab rangoon & low mein are NOT Chinese food. Second, once you actually eat Chinese food you simply can't stomach the swill that we get at typical "Chinese" places in the US. This year, my friends and I will be enjoying some Guizhou dishes here: http://www.thebeijinger.com/directory/Da-Gui

Mu Lan Taiwanese Restaurant in Cambridge
The price is a tiny bit more expensive than the regular ones, but the quality and quantity make up for it plenty.
Delicious dishes, good service, genuine Chinese flavors. I love it.

I always thought Chef Changs in Brookline was excellent.  The food was always great, service was prompt and the prices were excellent.  But as the economy went, so did Changs.
