Sichuan Gourmet in Billerica.  Same people who are in Framingham and Brookline.  Wonderfully fresh and authentic tasting Sichuan cusine when I compare it to restaurants I have enjoyed in San Francisco's Chinatown such as Hunan Homes.

I am surprised that no one said May's Cafe on Main Street, Medford for take out and to eat at a resturant is TIKI Island in Medford.  Both places cook to your taste espically if you are allergic to MSG they are good for taking it out of the order completely!!!!

Re: Your favorite Chinese food in the Boston area?

Teriyaki House on West Broadway in South Boston (they also have another location on Boyleston Street)This place has been around for a couple years now and has AMAZING and FRESH asian food (not only the traditional amerian "chinese" take out but fresh sushi, japanese food etc) The crab sticks are amazing and the orange chicken is to die for! they also have a frequent buyers card in which you get one point for every $1 spend and when you get to 100 points they give you  $10 towards your next meal, which is pretty cool.
Another good place is a small hole in the wall on East Broadway called South Ocean, don't be fooled by its small, shack like appearance, this place is family owned and has been in Southie for years upon years, affordable, friendly and delicious!

Changsho in Porter Square, Cambridge is worthy, but my all-time favorite was China Sun in Davis Square, Somerville. Cheap and very good. Their singapore rice noodle and spicy chicken wings were legendary!!! Even their sweet-and-sour chicken was a heavenly experience...

..but they disapppeared a few years ago.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE CHINA SUN WENT???
