    oooh.  I was never a fan of MTM show, but I loved McHale's Navy, especially Capt "wha wha wha" Binghamton.

    Will,  HGWMV is a clever association but I don't remember it becoming a tv show... I'll try imbd.  

    Oh I found it... a mini series.  hmmm. I'll see if they have it at the library.

    In the 1970s on Saturday morning cartoons, Schoolhouse Rock was the bit they played between cartoons on ABC. CBS had In the News (with Christopher Glenn), which I liked just as much. They were always interesting.
