    Smothered Pork Chops

    Pork Chops
    1 cup all purpose flour

    1 teaspoons salt

    ½ teaspoon pepper

    1 chopped onion

    1 cup water

    2/3 cups of flour

2 cans (14.5 oz) chicken broth

    2 tablespoons gravy master

Put the flour in a platter and add the salt and pepper.  Mix with a fork. Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel and dredge them in the seasoned flour.

Put oil in pan and sauté onion. Add pork chops and brown on both sides. Add water and bring to a boil.

Wisk together 2/3 cups of flour, chicken broth and gravy master until smooth.  Add to pan and stir well.  Cover and cook over low heat 30 – 40 minutes.
