Willowdale Estate in Topsfield was perfect for us.  A palatial estate that was donated as part of a state park and has incredible decor, lots of space indoors and outdoors, and we even got to stay there overnight.

I was married at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut.  We had a small wedding, just immediate family and close friends, but they were scattered all over and the casino was a convenient location to all.    We put up our guests at the hotel, which was very nice.  There are scenic locations in the casino where they sometimes have weddings, but we opted to use their conference rooms.   We had one for the ceremony and another larger one for dinner & dancing.  The food was great.   After the festivities were over, people split up - some went swimming in the indoor pool, some went to the casinos and gambled, some of us visited a number of the bars and continued celebrating!   In the morning we all joined up again for a brunch.

Upon the reocommendation of a nother MoB, we decided to celebrate our wedding, 22 years ago, at the what was then the Brockton Art Museum, and which is now the Fuller Craft Museum. It's a very special, intimate, somewhat contemporary design, creative space, with indoor andoutdoor space, on a small lake. Ceremony was in a beautiful gallery, we moved into the ballroom/hall that includes a stage for the reception/party, and guests could vsit throughout the building.
"Located on 22 acres of woodland on the shores of Porter's Pond, Fuller Craft Museum provides picturesque views, an artful environment and an experienced staff to help plan your special event. Fuller Craft is the perfect location for weddings, showers, cocktail parties, graduations, anniversaries, business meetings and more".
People still remark to us that is was their favorite wedding ever...I highly recommend you checkout their website and visit!

Years ago I attended the wedding of friends who chose to have the ceremony in the China Room at the Peabody Essex Museum.  Different and memorable. The reception was just down the street at the Hawthorne Hotel.

We were married at the "Casino" building on the Roger Williams Zoo property in Providence. We looked at many venues like the Vineyard in Stonington CT, Mystic Seaport in Mystic CT and a few in Providence RI: the Tokalon Club - it has an indoor bowling alley; the Squantum Club overlooking the water which is gorgeous; and the Governor Henry Lippitt House Museum.

We're getting married next weekend on Salisbury Beach, and the town is actually letting all of our guests park for free!

My wife and I were married at the Rockport Art Association (here).  Not only was the staff VERY helpful and the rooms amazing with art and hardwood all over, but the town of Rockport was an AMAZING destination for all of my family from PA; a true New England experience!!  We had to become a member of the Association for a year plus a bit more to rent the space but, overall, the price could not be beat for the locale & facilities.  We couldn't have a keg (boo!!) or open flames, but those two obstacles are easily overcome.   A GREAT PLACE TO START YOUR NEW MARRIED LIFE!!!

The Boston Harbor Islands national park area is a great place for a wedding!  The views are fabulous and it's a kick to have your guests take the boat over and wear sandals.  Plus Summer Shack does the food.Cool

Fabulous unique location for a small wedding or other kind of party - the Waterworks Museum in Chestnut Hill.  Gorgeous view of the Chestnut Hill Reservoir, amazing architecture, great even planning staff...  Highly recommend it.

Mechanics Hall is lovely. Where I grew up, most of the high schools held proms there. It's so pretty inside.
