Actually, yes millions of people have been denied basic health care for numerous reasons. If you don't have insurance you can't get preventative care. No one goes to the emergency room for a physical or a dental cleaning.
What are you talking about? You cannot go to a dentist if you don't have insurance? That's crazy. Most of them are more than happy to take CASH aren't they? In fact they probably prefer it. Same with doctors.
Oh, some people do not have enough money? Why is that? COuld it be their priorities are f'd up and they want us to pay for their health care so they can go buy all sorts of shiite they don't need like booze, cigarettes, cell phones, drugs, junk food, etc?
And we don't have Medicaid for people that don't have enough money?
If you don't get preventive care its your own damned fault, not because you don't have enough money.
Its always black and white with you clowns. Plenty of hard working well meaning people have their lives devasted by the decisions of others. The recession is case study in how an individual who has worked his or her life to build wealth and savings woke up one morning to find their 401K's ravaged and a pink slip waiting for them when they got to work. So when those people try to provide for their families basics needs they can't even afford the absurd rates one has to pay for COBRA coverage because it would literally be a choice between food, a morgage, or other necessities like health care. The other option? Take a risk that that no one will get seriously hurt, and hope no one requires recurring prescriptions (like for asthma, diabetes, etc) or else you may find yourself bancrupt and destitute at the mercy of a society that seems far more concerned about stripping away safety net programs than providing a mechanism for people to get access to quality affordable services and a means to live without turning to the government for help.
Yeah its the "takers" ruining the country, but these takers can't get a living wage (thanks GOP for voting down a minimum wage increase), they can't get health care because thats socialism so even though its the law of the land GOP states are actively working against ACA despite the demonstrated need by its consituents, every few months they have to hold their breath wondering if congress won't fund unemployment because despite recrod profits and a soaring stock market business has been slow to hire preferring instead to sit on growing mounds of cash that is being shipped off shore for safe keeping (and tax avoidance), we can't raise revenues by closing loopholes because the GOP can't fathom a world where people who can afford personal jets might have to pay appropriate taxes on their luxury items. The GOP actively bashes those that have the least while working their hardest to make sure those same people have no reliable upward mobility.
