NYTimes Freely Mocks Mormons: 'I Wouldn't Buy the Underwear Just Yet'
The paper’s online “Room for Debate” section, which “invites knowledgeable outside contributors to discuss news events and other timely issues” on Monday asked “
What Is It About Mormons?," inspired by the prospect of Mitt Romney winning the Republican nomination for president. The fact that the Senate has for the last five years been led by a Mormon, Democrat Harry Reid, has failed to trigger similar concerns at the Times. The Times also shows it feels free to shower at least some religions with derision and mockery...

" After Hurricane Katrina, Mormon trucks were the first to arrive. But what was a force for good after Katrina also has a dark side. When it comes to the social agenda, the Mormon Church does not respect separation of church and state. It has used its mobilizing genius to pursue political goals, and individual Mormons have obeyed like sheep.”

Can you imagine the Times printing an op-ed likening devout Muslims to sheep, or mocking their religious rituals?

Meanwhile, everyone knows the folks at MSNBC nearly faint in outrage whenever the words “Obama” and “Kenya” are used in the same sentence. Barack Hussein Obama Senior had four wives (one at a time), and fathered eight children from 1958 to 1982, but mentioning this of course would be racist , and irrelevent
But on Obama reelection network MSNBC, on Monday night’s "Last Word", host and avowed socialist Lawrence O’Donnell not only mocked Mitt Romney’s great-grandfather Miles Park Romney leaving America for Mexico to preserve his polygamy. He claimed their history is “profoundly weirder” than you would think – and didn’t really explain what he meant.

The denunciation of the "profoundly weirder" history of the Romneys:

"Mitt Romney doesn’t like to tell the story of how many times his family came to the United States, and how many times his family left the United States in its attempt to preserve the practice of polygamy. He prefers to pretend his family came to the United States just once from Mexico. But the truth is profoundly weirder than that.
And it is a truth that Romney speech audiences and "Fox and Friends" viewers will never know."

Way to deflect, Fox doesn't do that shtick and you know it.

Beck and Limbaugh are akin to Stewart and Colbert.

"Geez, the 'media bias' spiel again?"

Gee, the "I cant address the substance so will insult and rant about wingnuts" spiel again?

CNN's Martin and O'Brien High Five Each Other for Skewering Mitt Romney

[Laughter at Jon Stewart skewering Romney]

ROLAND MARTIN: Great segment. And you have to see this skewer Mitt Romney for it because of the opening line in terms of I’m not concerned about them, but are they really Americans? And also, this whole 90-95 percent middle class. No, 15.3 percent of the country ‘s in poverty. 22 grand for a family of four. Mitt might want to check the math and understand the number of people out there who are having a difficult time. And the last thing: how’s the middle class move? Now all of a sudden you swear the middle class makes up to $500,000 in this country. Welcome back, Mitt.

SOLEDAD O’BRIEN: All I have to say is should have been, could have been a victory lap…

    MARTIN: Ain’t going to happen.

    O’BRIEN: …and it was not.

MARTIN: Great job, Soledad. Off to Tom Joyner. [Gives her a high five]

You know, it's one thing for the Barack Obama and Newt Gingrich campaigns to do a victory lap over this faux pas.

But should employees of a so-called cable news network be doing that on the air?

"And you have to see this skewer Mitt Romney...Great job, Soledad." High five.

OK, who's going to come forward with "enough stones" and tell us that there won't be any "Mormon Bashing", or "biased articles" written by any of the major media outlets between now and Election Day.

    Air-head?
    WDYWN?
    Ruby?

    Bueller?

If Mitt Romney actually believes all the crazy S**t in the book of Mormon he should be bashed.

Same goes for Bible thumpers, the Christians just have the luxury of their crazy story being 2000 years old, where as the Mormon crazy story is all documented history.

There were no Gold Tablets and Mary had sex.  Accept it.
