Nixon got re-elected carrying every state but Massachusetts. To punish the state, he closed the Charlestown Navy Yard. Point being, there is a precedent for targetting cuts for political reasons.
In reality, the states that tend to vote republican will feel cuts more than the Blue states because they receive a disproportionate high share of federal sending.

Are you saying the stimulus, whihc largely went to unions and government workers, worked?
Have you looked out of the window of your tiny little cell?
As far as cuts: From an economic standpoint, cuts need to be across the board, including entitlements, including "wingnut" congressional districts. If you don't look for a future where we have a whole pile of detroits, bankrupt inner city h3llholes created by the vice of government handouts. Entitlements actually need to be cut more drastically than many other areas, as, from an economic standpoint, they are generally counter productive.

Clues to the moonbats ...
Wingnuts don't really care about cuts to their districts, they don't care if there are less government workers, less welfare queens, less services that they don't needThey care if you start to Tax them more, taking more hard earned dollars to pay for more government.

The wingnuts, to a person, voted no and decried the stimulus as wasteful and wouldn't help create jobs... .
And the wingnuts were proven to be 100% correct.Airborne's suggestion that federal spending be used as a political weapon has already been implemented by the crooked Chicago political machine running the country...the stimulus spent twice as much money in Democrat districts as Republican...

You are living in the past. Blue states like Massachusetts are filling up with welfare recipients and government dependents...and of course, useless public sector unionized jobs are plentiful, if you know the right people.Hardworking ambitious self reliant folks head west on the Pike out of Moonbatachusetts to good private sector jobs in Va, NC, Texas, Fla...
The income of those living in red states has climbed 4.6% since the recession began in December 2007, a USA TODAY analysis of total increases found. The average income of those living in blue states and swing states saw a much slower increase. The personal income of blue states has increased 0.5%, while in the swing states, income increased 1.4%.

So, other than the obvious elitist stance you are taking, most entitlement spending is in urban areas, as are democrats, and urban areas in blue states are either going bankrupt or are bankrupt.Next.

Don't forget the exodus of workers from blue states to red states.Liberals hate this in particular, becasue when people move to better themselves, big liberal government has less of a hold on them.

Heh, heh, heh.... which is why the states with the highest percentage of people on gov't programs are wingnut states. The states that are the queens of federal welfare are the wingnut states.
The states with the highest concentration of 47%-ers are the wingnut states.
You wingnuts are hilarious.
Ya'll just wander mindlessly through life blissfully ignoring reality.
Every state has leechers, everytown has welfare queens, is not where you live DummyIs not blue states vs red states
Is people that don't rely on the government, people that know how to earned a living. People that know when debt is out of hands , cutting back is a good thing.
Crying over 2% cut on spending... Booo Hoo Hoo.
The reality "IS FOR THE CHILDREN" the more we cut the less they have to pay in the future
Moonbats are for the childrens right? heheheh

Facts? how about some common sense
Our government spends more money that it collects(taxes), money don't grow on trees
They borrow the remaining. Each year that they don't pay back, it add more interest. Over the years the loan and interests will grow. A country debts don't go away if you die. If you don't pay back the debts during your generation, your children will assume your debt
