I would never, ever sensor anyone with what they wanted to write/print/publish, but I do wish sites like BDC wouldn't put anything under the headlines when kids are the victims of violence. I have a really hard time reading articles like the one about the CT grandmother - which is why I don't read them. But sometimes the little one paragraph summary of the article under the headline is impossible to miss.

It just makes me sad.

I agree.  I hardly ever open the boston.com homepage precisely to avoid these stories, but unfortunately I did today and saw that same story.  Make me very sad too.
