    Re: OHL

    In Response to OHL:
Just  a few comments about what's happening in the OHL playoffs and the 2010 draft prospects. Taylor Hall had a goal an 2 assists last night in a messy 7-6 win . Cam fowler had an assist . Hall is tied for the lead in playoff scoring with 8 points in 3 games. Tyler Seguin had a goal and an assist and has 5 points . Two guys that I've been impressed with in the playoffs and have picked their games up a notch are Tyler Toffoli and Jeff Skinner. Skinner is a buzzsaw in the offensive zone and creates scoring opportunities . Toffoli's skills with the puck are getting better and better. Alexander Burmistrov is also having a good playoff series for a strong Barrie team. Barrie looks stronger than Hall's Windsor team right now. Players having so -so playoffs are Austin Watson( Peterborough) and John McFarland( Sudbury) but they are on weaker teams playing against stronger teams Mississaugua and Barrie. Just another observation from an OHL couch potato.

    Re: OHL

For us to keep a potential top 3 pick we need the Leafs to play teams nearly as bad as them. While that sounds stupid it's actually valid. Since the end of the Olympic break Toronto has only beaten playoff caliber teams (save for Edmonton and now Tampa Bay) while losing to teams like Carolina, the Islanders and most currently Florida as of last night. The Maple Leafs come to play against the playoff teams because they thrive on being the spoilers.

    Re: OHL

Yeah, I've been watching a bunch of the OHL playoff games on, Rogers "OHL Action Pack" (the same type of viewing package as NHL Centre Ice).  The intensity is way up for the playoffs.  Some of you should youtube the Barrie/Sudbury altercations.  Talk about a real hockey rivalry.

My Frontenacs are in tough with Brampton.  But, with jersey's like the Frontenacs wear, how could they go wrong right?  Haha....
