Has Stephen Harris become a joke?

It has been well chronicled that ever since his close friend Peter Chiarelli came on board as GM of the Bruins that Harris has been in the back pocket of the Bruins. Unobjective, on the payroll, biased as they come, propoganda puppet they say, wondering if any of you think this is true... Been reading some of his recent articles lately and I have to say I have to agree.

Are there any decent unbiased hockey writers left in either Boston paper, or do these guys get too close to the team and become paid fanboys?

No time to jump ship on Bruins

Game 5 flop just a blip on screen

WILMINGTON - Because of the work they’ve done the last seven weeks, the heart and dedication they’ve displayed, the Bruins have earned the benefit of the doubt for their shoddy performance Monday night at the Garden.

It must have been an aberration, an anomaly, not a true indication of where this team is. Fans should not be giving up on the B’s after one lousy showing.

Give us some more examples, as this one sounds pretty reasonable. To base your observations on one article, it kind of like saying Tiger Woods is not that great because he missed a cut.

Understand your point but I don't read the Herald haven't since I lived in taxachusetts but here are some articles from Fluto and KPD. they weren't exactly scathing but not flattery either.

Neely2005 couldnt agree more with you. All season harris never bashed the bruins lack of effort or was critical of pc. I think PC and Harris may be boy friends off of the ice.

Harris you got be kidding!?!? Harris is like a rebel without a cause compared to Fluto...Fluto is a company man first, reporter second I don't need to exact a sample of his work just about every report is evidence enough.

"At least Jeremy Jacobs got to pocket the profits of seven home playoff dates, a great relief for B’s"

    Stephen Harris' latest gem today!
