In an effort to bolster an ailing line-up, as well as competewith the Philadelphia Flyers, the Bruins have announced the following signings for the remainder of the season: Tim "Dr. Hook" McCracken (signed from the Syracuse Bulldogs); Gilmore Tuttle, Ogie Ogilthorpeand Clarence "Screaming Buffalo" Swamptown (allformerly of the Federal League). "With the loss of Chuck (Kobasew), Savard, Ference, we need some help," said Bruins' GM Peter Chiarelli. "I know these guys haven't played in a while, but the Hansons were unavailable due to a book signing tour. I think they'll really help out our team."Bruins' fans still hanging on to theidea that the Bruins know what they're doing, or that it's the injuries and not management that is the biggest problem, are truly and sadly delusional.
