...today vs. the avs was a disgrace to hockey. I mean, give credit to Colorado for having a good penalty kill but for the most part it was hard to tell which team was shorthanded. It actually seemed like the Avs had more players on the ice during their penalty kill which totally defies logic. B's played much better 5-on-5 and showed some grit in their efforts to close the gap, the the defensive lapses, bouts of lazy skating and horrible PP were flagrant and cost them the game.

No panic here though, and some signs of hope: Ryder's two goals were sweet--that deflection was absolutely badass.
