Will be interesting to see if Nonis has the ballz to make a trade to shake things up, as all he has really done is sign Mason Raymond to a free agent deal and trade Liles for Gleason. Re-signing guys already acquired by the previous GM doesn't really count and i don't see Carlyle getting fired.......yet.

Typical Celine, plays the tough guy with Zack Boychuk, all 5'10', 180lbs with no penalty mins, priceless. I wonder where this was in the first period?

Man are they bad defensively, a total trainwreck in their own end.Carlyle will blow a gasket soon and rightly so. Glad to see they have Celine & Clarkson to long deals, Lupul seems to be the guy that can actually do something but he can't do it alone.

    [/QUOTE]

He's blown quite a few lately ... His team is something like 5 regulation wins in the last 30 games....he know his team has lots of flaws...this team is built with players that are not Carlyle type players, but he is stuck with them...when McClement, Raymond, Kulemin are your consistent performers night in and night out you're in big trouble..... Kadri, Kessel, VanRymsdyk, Lupul aren't your best players every night you're doomed....they just don't bring it every night....lots of wasted money on this team...,

HayesTSN: If you were watching Kessel & JVR for the 1st time the past 3 games you'd think Team USA was punking people. Bobby Ryan, in particular ....

    Great tweet !!!

Something's gonna happen very soon in Toronto for sure...a firing, a trade, but something.

Absolutely nothing from them tonight, actually the last week or so. Highest paid players are supposed to be your best players. Semin must be the Russian spelling for Kessel.

"McGrattan just did what Bylsma hasn't been able to do all season... take Engelland out of the game."

Haven't gotten the video but McGrattan dropped Engelland with a six inch punch.

What is wrong with this picture? I don't think I have ever seen this for an entry level player to refuse demotion....

    Mikhail Grigorenko refuses demotion

Gotta love those Russians, always a risk to draft them when they have KHL safety net.

And Bobrovsky still can't stop short side shots just over his blocker. You'd think he would want to check out his scouting report. Hope he starts in the Olympics.

You would think it is quite natural to get the shoulder tight against the post to take it away. But maybe his reflex mindset is trying to just take away the phat part of the net. Anticipating too much maybe ?

Or maybe it is a Chuck Knoblach throw to 1st base phobia developing.

The strange case of Chuck Knoblach, i remember when his throwing went erratic during the playoffs, really weird, one day text book throwing motion, the next day totally off.

Man, real greasy game going on between Kings vs Canucks... Halfway thru the second over 100 minutes in penalties... Sestito jumps Nolan and pounds him off a faceoff and draws half hour with of penalties.... Just a mean game all around.... Reminds me of the old days :)

Is it ever, feels like another fight or questionable hit could happen at any time, expect Nolan to go with someone in the third, maybe with Weise after his slewfoot on Doughty. If the score was lopsided this game would really get out of hand. It does seem like an old time game, like an old B's/Scabs game. Kassian with 2 ten minute misconducts so far. The Nucks must be the most despised team in the league as far as i can tell judging by their games against the Kings, B's, Blues & Hawks and Burrows isn't even playing.

So "Doobie" Dubnyk to the Predators for Matt Hendricks eh? Nashville must really think they have goaltending problems, maybe a fresh start will help, but Dubnyk? He will be playing in front of a better D.
