Great to see Lou back on the ice and a great effort tonight. I'm ok with two points from this road trip as these teams have been on fire at home.

    And West Coast games blow.

Nice finish to this west coast trip. Wild game -- time to shut down and recharge the defibrilator.

Until the next time he has a game they see as crap.  He was brilliant from the get go. The team in front of him got better as the game went on.

I don't like watching either Thornton.

    Joe never appears animated.

    Shawn is all done.

Otherwise, great effort by the Bruins, great to see Loui play and play well, great to see Miller step in and perform well - and not a bad fight either.

Heard Edwards say no Bruin team has gone to California and returned without points. That continues.

Thats just a nice team win.  Team D and offense, nice job by Tuuuuk. Nice win.

How can you take Spooner out of this lineup?  Nice to see Louis.

Someone should ask Brian Burke if Jumbo Joe can spell "intense"...

Jumbo Joe is a good player that plays at one level, whether its pre season, regular season or post season, its always the same level. Taking his game to another level? I don't know if its happened yet.

The most intense I've ever seen him was when he was talking about wagging his junk if he ever scored four goals in a game.

Incidentally, he has 4 shots in a game only three times this year.  He hasn't topped 4 yet.  Last year, he had 5 shots twice, 4 once.  Last full season, he had 4 or more 12 times.  In his last 100+ point year, he had 4+ shots in 26 games.

He remains a guy who will never be what he could have been because he prefers to be a one-dimensional pass-first guy.  5-45-50?  Those are goofy numbers.

Great teams possess a balance of veteran leaders, youth, grit, toughness and speed. Spooner's speed stands out on a team that can use help in that area. We are all waiting for some breakout goals but his contribution behind the scenes up until now has been a plus for the team.

Im really impressed with Miller playing like a veteran, not afraid of anything and pretty dam smart in the corners. The 3rd line played well, could be a good sign too. Marchand up until the 3rd  period  didnt show anything, hope he can get his game back. Rask looked totally focused, its usually after a bad game or 2 that he shines, a good night to shine.

Without Spooner's speed creating a loose puck and subsequent chip back to Soderberg along the wall........this goal doesn't happen.

    Great work by 51.

I've seen enough of him at the NHL level to be convinced ( or hope ) he should never see the inside of an AHL arena again.

Agreed with everyone (how fun).  Just can't send Spooner back.  Too good.

And maybe the "we-should-go-82-0-crowd" can shut up about Rask today...

A fun time watching the B's and the Pats last night.

Not that I've complained about Rask but he doesn't deserve some criticism when he doesn't look good ?

yesterday he played really well,  against the Ducks ...... could have been a little better, didn't seem like he was tracking the puck a, with and looked out of position.  L.A. ... didn't see the game but he got pulled.
