    Bruins Depth Chart

What does the current depth chart look like?

    Lucic-Krejci-Eriksson

    Paille-Bergeron-Iginla

      ?     -Marchand-    ?

Does that look right?  The top 2 lines look really good.

no. it looks really really wrong (sorry). Marchand plays left wing, on the second line. he led the team in goals last year playing that position. He isn't moving to center and dropping down.

    probably this

    Lucic - Krejci - Eriksson

    Marchand - Bergeron - Iggy

    Soderberg - Kelly - ?

    Paille - Campbell - Thornton

I'm still hoping they can find a spot for spooner somehow.

    Lucic – Krejci – Iginla
    Marchand – Bergeron – Eriksson
    Soderberg – Kelly – Smith
    Paille – Campbell – Thornton

Or is that more like it?

Isn't Eriksson better off as a LW though?

honestly that is more realistic than mine. I just want iginla with bergeron, and eriksson with krejci. IDK about smith on the third line, they still have a decent chunk of cap space due to the Iginla contract being so incentive based. They will probably look outside the organization for RW3

This was what I was thinking. I think Soderberg will get some time to prove himself, and if he can't the best rookie will probably take over.

where? both lefties. both centers. both definitely can't play the off wing (RW, where they need the help)

Doesn't CJ end up giving significant ice time to a rookie every year though?

Replace Smith with Fraser and that would be the lineup I expect to see on opening night.

It will be a good battle between Spooner and Fraser but I think the bigger more experienced Fraser wins the spot.

I don't know...I wonder if Thornton is too old now to play the enforcer role. And, he slowed down last season.

Spooner played some RW in junior. So you're definitely wrong about being definite.

playing a bit in junior, in a league you've dominated is one thing, being a rookie in the NHL and playing hte off wing is quite different. When was the last time the bruins put a rookie in a semi permanent role on the off wing.

I would like to stay within the organization for the 12th and 13th forwards.  However, someone mentioned Damien Brunner from Detroit.  What do you all think of him as a player andwhat do you think this guy will earn?

Also I liked Soderberg at Center, Kelly is on the wing.
