    Caron sent down

    Caron heads down

With Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand close to returning from concussions and the expected arrival of Carl Soderberg on Wednesday, Boston sent left wing Jordan Caron to Providence on Tuesday.

    Unfortunately, that's where he belongs.

Does that mean we will see the North American debut of the Yetiberg?????

So Caron doesn't need to go through waivers?  That's good news.

hopefully, we never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, see that USELESS waste of space on the Bruins again. It's one thing for Lucic to loaf around the ice, it's another thing for these Zach Hamil/Jordan Caron types to get up to the NHL and be unable summon the energy for put together a 4th line forecheck.

9th on the Bruins in points/minute, has almost identical Fenwick and  Corsi as Marchand but Marchand is great and Caron is useless.

Your corsi stats are wrong. Jordan Caron is 25th on the Bruins (-13.16 btw, that's the 3rd worst on the team), Brad Marchand is 23rd in the entire NHL (+20.85)

perfect example on how points can be misleading because they don't happen enough. Jordan caron's shifts are marked by assaults on our goalie and ineptitude in the offensive zone.

    Re: Caron sent down

The site you listed is not using what most people use when you talk about Corsi. The site you use has something I've never seen called iCorsi, which they define as (shots on goal + shots that miss the net + shots that are blocked). Yet even though they define it that way, they list ridiculous numbers that couldn't possibly be adding up all the shots (what could +11 possibly mean?).

The corsi that most people use is shot differential. This is a key difference because it compares the player's average contribution to his opponents.
