Well, Happy LED Eve to all of you.

Twas the night before Leafs Elimination Day,

    And all was quiet,

Many gathered  outside the arena, and like Vancouver, they prepared for the riot,

Young men and girls drank their beer, older ones sporting a flask,

"Oh why, oh why", they cried, "did we ever trade Tuuka Rask?"

They came by the thousands to watch the team they love,

Only to notice, Reimer can't keep a puck in his glove,

Many of them nervous, in anticipation, doubled up on their prozac,

Wondering if this was the last game in blue for young Tyler Bozak,

Once the season was over, many wondered what they would do,

never caring that Phil Kessel looks like a Level 2,

The season is over, maybe go see the Blue Jays,

Because standing here with these Leafs jerseys on, we look like a bunch of gays.

As the sea of blue departed in disbeLEAF,  they threw away their jerseys in the nearest bin,

many wondered how Dion Phaneuf dates that girl, when he has that real ugly chin.

Showing up in the stands, Elisha sure showed some bravery,

But many often wonder, does he like the leftover taste of Sean Avery.

Well done!  I'd love to see what you could do with the eliminated Habs as your subject.

According to my pool, picked the B's to win in 6 with 2 OT victories.

Hope my heart can take the excitement! Never thought this series would be easy, should never be easy to move on in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Seguin needs to step up and show the world what he's got

I like it.  I'd "love" it if you'd edit/delete Memorial Day from the list of "happy holidays."

Not to rain on the parade, but shouldn't we be waiting till the Bruins actually win the series before we start posting victory flags and poems ?

You're not superstitious are you? Whats the worst that could happen? The Bruins lose the game and they play game 7. Why not be confident, there is a difference between that and overconfidence.

Wouldn't say superstitious. I want it just as bad as anyone, I just don't like counting the chickens before they hatch. It's an oldy but a goody ! LOl

I'm a firm believer in that old adage as well but even though it seems some fans confidence is shaken i still think if the B's bring their best game they can win the next one in TO.
