    Current Impact of the Whale?

    I never though the Whalers would ever impact the current NHL in this way:

    There's still three original Jets playing in the league - are there any Whalers still left playing? Was Pronger the last?

    Giguere...although it is safe to say he will not be active for long.

    But Kevin Dineen is still rather active in the league...

    He sure is as are many Whaler alumni in the coaching profession and in other capacities.

    I would venture to guess that only Doan will be back for next season. Of course, Selanne keeps surprising...

    I miss going to games at the mall, that damn Whalers song. Remember how nervous I was when Hartford took the Bruins to 7 games in the 1990 playoffs.
