I find it hard to believe the other guys didn't know his politics long before this (and why would they care?)

This team had been off its game since around the Vancouver game - leave stuff like that to the media since they love stirring up nonsense without actually watching the games.

Aaron Ward hasn't played with the Bruins since 09, and he said he and everyone else who knows TT is fully aware of his politics. This was not some new revelation

No, the original poster is right. The whole white house fiasco is the reason Cam Ward and Marc-Andre Fleury stood on their heads against the Bruins.

Yep! And the reason that Corvo, Horton, Mcquaid & Sieds are all hurt because of it too! And Paille got sent airborne yesterday because his head was thinking "I can't believe Timmy did that!"

PC said he'd been trying for months to get Thomas to attend.  Presumably the rest of the club knew he wasn't coming either.

Every good team goes thru hi's and lo's.  We are dealing with a few injuries, and maybe the short summer is starting to show.

Expect a deal or two soon.  Something to kickstart this team.

Trust in Chiarelli, he's on the phone you can bet.

Just a lull. 82 game schedule is a grind.  But they do need everyone buying in... this is not a team that can be carried by one or 2 stars.

I prefer the team goes thru a slump now and get it fixed then having the slump going into the playoffs. Every team has a winning strreak then when its broken they go into a slump. Happens in every sport. People need to clam down a bit. Stop posting all the trade rumours and just wait. They will turn it up again.

The only downside to Tim not going this year is, now we have to wait until next year to find out who the Democrats are.

The dumbest post so far. The game today was interesting in how Claude switched Kreji and Kelly. I thought, earlier. that Pevs was not gaining "chemistry" with Krej/Looch, but the give and go yesterday, on Looch's goal was slick. Maybe Pevs with Looch and Kelly is better. Bergeron's line was constantly moving and working hard; IMO Caron played a safe up and down, good hits and coverage; Kreji probably needs the stimulus from Claude, and Pouliot was his inconsistent [Wheeler]self. Corvo still makes poor decisions, and Chara's LOOOOng passes were lousy to say the least. Our Captain doesn't always make the best decisions. Once again Thornton gives all the energy he has, but "energy" does not control the puck or make good passes, or score goals.

Just how many American born players are playing with the Bruins right now ? How many Bruin players on the roster know what a Tea Party is (besides what they do with their daughters in the off season) ? Hockey and politics never meet. Who cares. If their is discontent in the Bruin locker room is sure the he!! isn't over TT and his politcs. NO MORE about Tea Parties and TT. Let it die as everyone on the Bruins has.

Re: discontent in the Bruins locker room

Look at last year's record mid season, then then tell this fan the "team" had discontent.  It is not due to Thomas, period.  Being a goalie is a positon in it's own.  Face the fact, the NHL regular season is a snore if your team has talent.  The Bs have talent!  It is a matter of lethargic play nothing else.  One month from now, when the games become a premium the Bs will have to put on a playoff run.  Until then their record since October is simply top shelf, it is the regular season where games that are close give out three points, YAWN!

    Discontent in the locker room?

Yes! Lots of anger and lots to prove when the playoffs start.

Should serve them well next month.
