He was terrible tonight, actually so was most of the team. It's making me depressed. He was way to soft tonight

Our defense looks very slow at the moment.  As much as I warmed to ference game last year he has been bad this year.  I dont even remember him on the ice.  So much I had to just check to insure he was playing.

Shupe, I know I've been especially hard on Corvo. My question is what's everyone else waiting for? His play has been a let-down at best.

I know I am gonna get a response.  But our PP hasnt been good since Wideman left.  He looks very solid in Wash on the 3rd pairing.

I thought Wideman was great at leading the rush up-ice. Unfortunately, it was hit or miss whether he'd lead Boston up-ice or the opposition. The epitome of a risk-reward player. I used to get ripped all the time for pointing out his positive qualities.

Yeah, but Chara wasn't alone in his suckage tonight. I thought the entire D corp was decent enough defensively but pretty brutal in transition...took the forwards out of the game quite a bit.
9 games in, so plenty of time to right the ship. I do think so many home games early is a huge detriment. I always liked the early season Circus-is-in-town road trip. It can be a huge team builder. Whatever it is, they've done a lot of sleepwalking to this point. I'm very interested to see how they respond up in Montreal.

All true, but I hope you aren't questioning that move.  The Bruins made a conscious choice for D-man that were good in their own zone and reliable defensively over offensive specialists who make a lot of turnovers (Wideman, Hunwick).  Because of that the powerplay has suffered...and the overall play improved, to the tune of a Stanley Cup.

Let's work on improving the powerplay for sure, but don't look longingly in the rear view mirror at people like Wideman.
