This is a great move by PC.  Iggy and Erickson can really be interchangeable parts on either of the top 2 lines, plus they both should be on the 1st PP unit and PRODUCE!  Congrats PC you made my day.

Luc- you should immediately post something wondering about Rask accepting a club-friendly long-term deal.

so, the cap hit is 1.8. for this year the cap hit is 1.8, it might tack on money next year but the cap will be going up so whatever. Bergy will probably cost them an extra 1.5 and Seidenberg an extra 1, so whatever.

Big bonuses for Iginla mean #Bruins will want to be careful about putting Savard on LTIR. Risk is high for a bonus overage for 2014-15.

it isn't a discount. he gets 3.7 million games played bonus. My guess is that once he plays 41 games or something like that, he gets paid

Assuming the merlot line stays together, who plays with Kelly and Soderberg on the 3rd line? This is really the only hole to fill.

I already coined the phrase, "he gave us a bone-town discount" to make up for screwing us at the deadline.

I"m surprised that Khudobin left for just $800K. Should we read into this that the Bruins think that Sveberg is ready and actually prefer him? Stanley Cup to the Hurricanes???

The Bruins have at least 6 or 8 young players that can fight it out for the spot now. I think it's Fraser's spot for the taking. He's proven he can score and bang in the AHL. I'm sure they are hoping he's ready to make the jump right away.
