    Re: Lucic ASSIST!!

Lucic was the monster he can be last night. He just needs to bring that game more often.  He is far from terrible.  When he moves his feet and plays nasty he is a difference maker that every NHL team wants on their team.  When he doesn't move his feet I agree he is terrible.  Guys who have the combined size and toughness along with a scoring touch like Milan are hard to come by.  Again although he needs to bring a more consistent effort I am happy  that he is a Bruins for a number of years to come.

    Coming back to Boston

    Coming  Back  to  Boston

    Maybe we want this miraculous

        comeback—winning from three goals

down with an empty net of minutes

to play—not for our sake. But more

for the possible day, perhaps still

        a month away—more games left

to be played and won—when we’ll

come to flood the streets with ourselves.

    Sidewalk-standing, children-on-our-

        shoulders-raising. Waiting for the cup

to be player-raised. Here, in Boston,

        police-motorcycle-escorted. The team,

    bearded and skate-weary, waving from

the improbable decks of the city’s

    celebrated, Bruins-decorated duck boats-

quacking. You can see I’m imagining,

if not predicting. Restoring the memory

of the last cup-winning. For the sake

of those fans, not more than a few streets

away, who came to see their runners-

    finishing. And themselves were bloodied

and taken away. Some died. All pledged

to come back to stand here, cheering.

        Street-filling. Window-waving. Not

    to be building-bounded. Yet still

able to be black and gold towel-waving.

    Remembering the miracle of another

day. Not easy to say. To see the earned

    banner-rising.

You have the right to your opinion ...........as stupid as it may be.

Do you think the Leafs and their bruised and battered bodies feel the same. He was wrecking machine !

P.S. In the interview after the game he said he thought that the team wouldn't stay together if the had lost........he never mentioned anything about himself getting shipped out. Get it right !

He was superhuman in that last 11 min. I think it's physically impossible to do what he did lastnight on a consistent basis.  I am ok with him conserving it in the regular season and bring it in the playoffs.

    Re: Lucic ASSIST!!

Any guess on what Lucic would get in a trade. Got 2 Firsts, and 1 Second for Kessel. More or less? Got to think it would be in the range at least, as EVERY GM in the NHL would want him on their team, and would pay a hefty price for him.

Yes, he could be more consistant, but many players have that label. As a fan, I would be extremely unhappy if they traded him, regardless of what they got back.

my posts  are spot on, you are clueless, Lucic is horrible.. go back to the tape and count how many times he coughs it up.. his points are lucky at best.. the few that he has this year..

How many TO goals were his fault?  Zero, the same as your IQ.
