I have always wanted to see him. He truly is one of the best of all time.

I cannot wrap my head around how completely underrated he still is.

It's probably not easy to be the other Elvis considering only 1 can be "The King".

As you can probably guess from how much I like Neil Young, I'll take the frog-faced guy who can write, play and produce in several genres with a world class resume over a pretty boy with a good voice, good lawyers letting him take other people's music for a song, and a cape.

Or you could just take a page from Arthur from the Larry Sanders Show and just call him Declan.

An opinion based question but for me, for todays bands, it's the Black Keys and Arcade Fire then everyone else.

Black Keys arent bad at all! The only newer bands Ive been able to get into are Queens of the Stone Age (not that new but still great) and The Whigs.  Ive always been more of a (i hate these terms) 'underground music' kinda guy.

For some reason, Arcade Fire never hit with me.  People keep telling me I'll like them, Alexisonfire, City and Colour.  Dunno.  meh.  Black Keys I like as much as the Jack White projects.  Edgy, smart, and mostly without bells and whistles.  Did you get Auerbach's solo album?

Sorry Davey I just never got into Elvis. Not saying he isn't talented just wan't for me. Sorry but yeah I found him boring.

Love old Aerosmith, Metallica, ACDC, The Cult, Dropkicks, Sinatra, Thorogood, STP, Soundgarden, Toad, U2 and my all time favorite Van Halen. I like Dave Matthews as I live in Va and have seen him a few times but most of my friends don't like him, just a matter of what you like.

Those bands define boring in my eyes.

Though i will say Soundgarden has never and will never get old to me. So there is some middle ground here!

I find myself revisiting the 90's more and more. The Lemonheads, Soundgarden, HUM, etc.

I have been revisiting 90s as well and Cake is one of them. Haven't listened to Auerbach's solo album yet but friends have been giving differnet reviews, I will check it out.

Sirius with Lithium and the 90s channels are on my speed dial. Alt Nation-18 countdown is where I get my altenative daily fix along with Underground channel. Sirius New Wave gives me my English New Wave fix. Black Coffe in Bed was on today, I haven't thought about Squeeze in ages- guilty little pleasures.

True, but there was a bit of a robust Canadian music scene in the 90's. Bands like Our Lady Peace, I Mother Earth, Tea Party, Moist, Sloan and others were pretty decent and very good live.

Until Nickelback came and ruined it all.......ugh.
