PBruins Michael Hutchinson signs with Winnipeg

The Jets also announced they agreed to terms with goaltenders Michael Hutchinson Hutchinson will receive $600,000 at the NHL level, and Pasquale $575,000 at the NHL level.

Hutchinson, 23, played 30 games with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League last season, with a 13-13-3 record, 2.30 goals-against average and .914 save percentage.

He was chosen by the Boston Bruins in the third round (No. 77) in the 2008 NHL Draft."

The Jets are going to the Stanley Cup for sure now LoL

That would great if Hutchinson shutout the Bs in pre-season "See I knew we should have re-signed Hutchinson"

Fine by me - they sorely lack depth at that position (their backup is Al Montoya for pete's sake). Their best goalie prospect is in college. They need depth there to develop in St. John's. Hutchinson is no answer but he could put pressure on Pasquale.

With Khudobin now a Cane and Hutchinson gone to the Jets, what's left on the farm to cultivate ? Sverberg will be keeping Rask's bench warm. That leaves a junior hockey goalie, Suban. Is Adam Morrison still a Providence Bruin ?

But that junior hockey goalie is one of the Bruins top prospects. What's wrong with having those credentials stepping into the AHL ?

Also, Svedberg might be AHL bound with the signing of Chad Johnson.

And Adam Morrison as a pro has played only one game above the ECHL with PBruins.

Other then that I agree with 100% of your post.

    xoxoxoxo

"Throughout the 2012-13 season, Morrison played in the Bruins minor league system for the South Carolina Stingrays and the Utah Grizzlies while Niklas Svedberg handled most of the workload in Providence. In 10 games for the South Carolina Stingrays, Morrison had a 4.07 Goals Against Average (GAA) and a .877 save percentage while in 14 games for the Utah Grizzlies he had a 3.46 GAA and a .903 save percentage."

He sure is Stuke, can't wait to see him. Apparently, according to the Bruins PR, he's a leader now. You'd better be something with those stats...like good at handing out towels.

I thought Hutchinson was terrible and showed no promise, he looked stiff and slow the few times I saw him.  IMO better off to go fishing among the goalie reject pile.
