I think it's a good signing.  He's a top 10 D-man in the league and will be a cornerstone of any future winning tradition in St. Louis.  A true #1 D-man who is a bonifide 'PMD' while being a big, strong defender in his own end.  Good on the Blues.

With good health and consistent netminding down the stretch, the Blues are looking good. Not too many defenders in the league with "5 tool game", so to speak, as Pietrangelo in the NHL.

Have a feeling in the seasons to come he's going to give my fellow Jets fans complete conniptions, which is a great thing for the Blues, not so much for Winnipeg.

Should've been based on his all-around game NAS. He's a stud & only going to get studlier!

    Who cares?

He's 23 and is a top-10 D-man in the league already.  Lock him up.

Cheaper than Suter and 5 years younger.

remind me again what last year's lockout was all about....

so much for Bill Daly's "hill we will die on" referring to five-year contracts which would be the max allowed in the new cba....

PK Subban must be licking his chops....

PK's gonna get more than 6.5 if he ends up as a Norris finalist/winner this year.

So how do you not have a problem with this contract but are against the Rask???
I kid, I kid....He's always been smart beyond his years. Does alot that doesnt show up on the scoresheet. Really took off under Hitchcock. He's the closest to a Lidstrom that I've seen.

Great signing. Cornerstone for that team.  I was just in STL, and boy do they love that team.  I kind of felt for their long suffering.

And, yes, I hope Subban forces the Scabs' hand, and it blows up in their faces.

Ok, good for the Blues. How do you react to Julien saying that Bartkowski's job is his to lose. This could refer to carrying three young D, but who will be #7 ? Might they rotate ? Or might they make someone else expendable ?

Yes.  Pietrangelo is better.  But i think Subban has the ability to be a game changer.  Pietrangelo would be my 1st choice over most players in the league.  Fwds included.
