Tomas Hertl next Bobby Orr for hockey

Tomas Hertl, at just 19, could do for hockey what no one has done since Bobby Orr skated in this league.  And it is not only long overdue, but exciting to watch this guy skate and score! The league has long needed some excitement on the scoring side of the game and this kid can certainly provide it. But this excitement will only last as long as the league puts a lid on the "goons" like Thornton who in reality are distractions from the game.

    Go Tomas!

Apparently you missed the 80s-90s when gretzky set every record known to man.   Hence best ever!

Good guess, I think. He used it to wash down a crack-filled donut.

Here's the goal.  Reminds me of Marek Malik's.

Either way -- you gotta love this kid. I probably woud think different if he did it to the B's with the score the way it was but vs the Rangers -- I wish all 4 goals were like that. Malik's was during a shootout if I recall but the poise of a 19 yo in regulation was insane. Watching him wave to his mom in the crowd after the game was like a kid getting on the school bus for the 1st time. Looks like anything but a hockey player with the baby face. Felt bad during the post game interview -- next time get the poor kid an interperter.
