Re: Toronto Record Tracker

Those Oilers win two in a row with a 2-0 win over NJ.  They are now only four points back of the Leafs and come here next week.  Toronto could still find themselves in the overall cellar by the end of the regular season

Darn, I was hoping Hartnell and Orr would knock each other out, but I'll just have to settle for chances at Taylor Hall.

Leafs down 3-1 early in the third period.  In the best of both worlds, I'd love to see Colton Orr pound on Scott Hartnell.  That would be good.

Agreed LoveRealHockey, I think Hall is in a position to perform better if he's on the Bruins compared to playing in Toronto. I think he would be dynamic at some point in the big smoke, but he has a much better chance to make an immediate impact if he can play with Savard, Krejci or Bergeron.

In Response to Re: Toronto Record Tracker:
The Oil w/ a nice shutout yesterday. Leafs are really struggling, Edmonton is only 4 points back. Bruins cant give the Leafs any more garbage points w/ OT or shootout losses.
Posted by mattymcgee55
Pretty much goes along with what the Bruins need to do with all there games and tomorrow nights game.

Edmonton looks terrible too - I dont see them catching up.

I am very pessimistic about this pick.
- I think we finish outside of top 3
- I think we get screwed in lottery
- I know we will F*** up the pick

oh oh ....  Rick Nash is hurt and Columbus is starting to free fall.
I can't believe I have to say GO HABS to beat the Leafs as they play them near the end of the season.

3-1 Isles and the Isles are looking pretty good.  Nice penalty kill to end 2nd period.

Let's hope the Islanders can hold on.  Let's also hope that the Thrashers lose.  The Rangers have already won their game today.  Thanks A LOT PHILLY!!!  We don't need anymore bad news.

Re: Toronto Record Tracker

As much as I like the Kessel deal to look better for the Leafs, the pick will be top 3 (almost guaranteed) unless the Bruins get a bad break on the balls (which by the way they could use some....LOL).

Bruins will get Hall, Seguin or Fowler for sure and probably Kabanov with their own pick. Looks more and more like Seguin, right now, but  all good building blocks.

Note:  Bruins could still get lucky and get the 1st overall pick if the balls bounce right.

That pick is getting worse and worse!

Toronto is playing well and the Canes suddenly look as bad as their record suggests (I thought they were better than their record for a while)

Anyways....lets keep this thread going, this interests me more than the playoff run as of now....
