    Well, Boychuk is Done

Asham knee on knee. Is this team going to throttle these punks now or what?

Didn't really look like Knee on Knee, but I hope it's not anything involving his ACL/MCL....

Asham is an honest player. Tough luck for Boychuk.

55 couldn't put any weight at all on that leg. Not good. We'll be lucky if he's even ready by October. Fuc.k the Penguins up large.

I don't care if he's honest or not, take them out. This game has featured one annoying thing after another.  We have a bagjob game and now an important D man is done for the year on an Ulf Samuelsson type of hit.

If Ashmun lead with his shoulder like Boychuk did it would not be knee ln knee.  It could have been avoided.

I would have to agree by the looks of it that Johnny Boychuck is done for the season and the playoffs (cross your fingers for a knee strain). As for the hit I didn't think it was dirty as O.C.D. pointed out...tough luck for Boychuck.

Bad break for Boychuk, incidental contact with Asham, not dirty.  Can't afford to lose him for the playoffs.

Boychuck was the one going for the hit, what are you talking about?

Shin on shin by the looks of it. Possibly a broken leg? Asham didn't stick his leg out, Boychuk's leg got caught inside where his foot couldn't slide out of the hit. I hate Asham but I don't think that was dirty. Freak play.

Definitely at least a sprain Crowles. Crossing my fingers and hoping nothing more after the MRI manana. Cheers to PC of making sure he got plenty of depth so lets not assume the worst.

    Re: Well, Boychuk is Done

Asham never did anything wrong. Boychuck's ACL and especially MCL went way out of alignment on impact. You can't tell from watching what the damage is, it might be sore but OK tomorrow, it might be a tear and he's done till next year. For now, we wait...

Good thing Corvo has lots of successful playoff experience, and we have Zanon.
