Now I really really want him to retire.

    This is just getting sad.

The same thing will happen again if he comes back.  His play will be off as he tries to get back into the groove again and then someone will hit him and then he'll be down and out again.

I believe that once you start getting serious concussions they can happen to you easier.

Chiarelli is an attorney first he warned Jacobs of possible future litigation and that it would be in the Bruins best interest to just shut Marc down for now. Where's MeanE to jump for joy ?

Pretty sure if he has to retire due to Injury, his contract is covered.

He should retire. When he's 50, he doesn't want to be unable to tie his shoes.

Very good point perrysound....a healthy savard would be an asset to the bruins ....but i hope he gets to be with his kids and remember their names for the rest of his life...
