Might be worth kicking the tires on him. At least you know you are getting 20-25 goals per season from him.

He had 16 g.  35 pts.  Hes getting more then 2m.   Would i take him back.  Maybe for the 3rd line.  But unfortunately our depth on the 3rd line is gonna be weak bc we need to sign rask and find a top 6 fwd.

It's much too solid.  Not fairweather enough.

NO.  I would put Seguin on the first and put Spooner with Berg and March.

I'd take him if he was cheap enough.  He has skills and is good under pressure.  Bruins need a skilled RW who can be the #6-7th forward in the bunch.  He would fit the bill.

so you'd throw a rookie to the wolves playing the off wing on the 2nd line? ya. not in this lifetime. no way. for 2 million of course you take ryder. He will probably sign for 4 mill though.

The cap requires moves like this.  He is a skilled player, has had a year in the A to mature, and can learn from the best (who did it as an 18 year old).

2 years $5.7mm.   Anytime ...Ryder will score more goals than Nathan Horton in the next 2 years

Stanley Cup to the BRUINS in 2011 & 4 more Cups by 2020

oh have him in the lineup. that's fine. I actually really want 51 in there. You fail to address the critical part here. You want to throw him in on the OFF wing. that means he's a lefty playing on the right wing. probably the most difficult way to enter the league. setting him up for failure.

And why exactly would Ryder take a paycut to return to the Bruins (or Jagr for that matter)?

In truth, neither are returning for many reasons.....

I would root for him if he were here, but I would rather go with the in-house options or alternative veteran options.

His back was really giving him problems in the end. Too bad his play on the PP was real good.

Id take jagr back.  I liked his attitude, his pp time helped this club big time, he appeared to enjoy his time and likely would welcome a return.

some team looking for leadership will pick him up.  Or he will sign a one year deal and be dealt at the deadline again.

PC might not have any other option if he fails to bring in an Alfredsson or the like to bolster the B's attack.  I could see this happening.  I think I saw PC on record say he might revisit that.

If we said no ,Would they listen to us? We have no control and who are we to say how much he should get? Would you like people telling your cpmpany what they should pay you. Maybe you should contact Micheal and tell him who you are and that you think he should get 2 mil from Bruins... Please let us know how you make out....
