I thought Krug looked out-muscled a few times in his first game but man did he come through last night. Loved his check behind the net and him sending Boyle into the net.

I was blown away with Krug/Boyle....had to watch that a couple times to believe what I was seeing....on the flip side, Boyle is pretty soft for a 6'6" dude........

Too bad they are coming out when the veterans get healthy.

If Tommy Cross comes up and scores an OT goal, Chowda and Dez will make the Badhab suffer worse than a redheaded step child rented mule.

A purchase of a Tommy Cross jersey to go along with your Soderberg jersey is a dream of mine.

Exactly, San.  I was thinking the same thing last night as the game progressed despite how impressive they were.  I have no doubt Julien will return the battle-ready vets once they're pronounced fit but if last night was any indication of the capabilities of the Kiddie Corps, the young uns will do a good job of minding the store.

And we will watch the breakout suffer or go back to where it was when the kiddos get benched. Compare the 1st round series games(s) 5, 6 and 7 to last night.

Absolutely.....I think the mobility brought by the kiddie corp took the Rags by surprise last night. Something the B's have not had in a while....

I must admit that Krug surprised me...wasnt crazy about the signing from the "get-go" particularly with the condition that he got to play a couple games while Providence Bruins d-men who I thought warranted a cup of coffee just to get a feel with the parent club i.e. Bartkowski didnt....thought he looked like Greg Hawgood and was purely a designated power play specialist which was a luxury we could ill afford(especially in looming days ahead of reduced salary cap) I was very impressed last night but still like to see a few more games before I am gushing and totally convinced but hey!, enjoy it while its here...

That condition essentially amounted to signing bonus for Krug. Letting him earn some NHL pay cheques was part of what PC sed to entice him to sign.
