The longer the better. We need help in the draft.

That would mean looking at the schedule Fierce. :) I'm not sure you did that....

I could see us beating Detroit Sunday.

Otherwise we are playing a really really tough Orlando team twice in the next handful of games...we'll win one of those.

If we can't beat Orlando then we have a real shot at 0-20... :)

You guys think the Celts will go 0-10 or more?

I hope not even though it will be great for the draft position.  I believe that it will break the spirit of the players that need to be developed.  We can't lose sight of developing players while chasing a high draft pick.

after losing to a bad Bucks team missing their starting PG, this could go on for a while.

    Utah.

We lose to Detroit and Memphis

The first win is Nov 6 against the Jazz.  Game is at home and its a Utah back to back game. Plus Utah stinks too.

Probably beat Utah at home to start 1-4.  Then, a split with the Magic, so a 2-6 start through the first 8 games.  That's not bad enough to get to the promised land, projecting out to approx. 20 wins over the entire season.  With the stars coming out in next year's draft certain NBA teams will be putting out that "extra effort" to suck.

No, we have to lose to Utah!

They are a smart franchise, like us. They know the true prize is Parker, not Wiggins. If you read their boards, they're all about Parker.

But realisitcally we should win either against the Jazz, Orlando, Charlotte or Portland.

On a separate note, do you think that Brett Brown will be the first coach to be fired for winning to many games?

    They're 3-0

The difference is that we are soon getting our superstar back. The 76ers may soon be shipping one out. I could imagine a scenerio where one or two of Turner, Young or Hawes is shipped out for additional picks/young talent.

    Maybe:

    OKC: Evan Turner, Spencer Hawes

PHI: Perkins, Jeremy Lamb, 2014 protected 1st (Houston)

diving for draft choices seems demeaning to me  if that is what Celtic pride is all about, then Celts are a third rate team in a third rate league Isn't anyone embarrassed? and then with our normal luck, the guy we draft will be a turkey.

I think we've all gotten over the embarassment of having one down year where we can dip into the draft and make something special happen.

I don't think we will ever get over the embarassment of being perenial losers. If Ainge can't turn one down year and a boatload of assets into a competitive team for 2014-15, there will riots in the streets.

I was here for the 24 game losing streak, I'll be here for this.

We are going to be really good in a couple of years.

You're absolutely right Billge.  Each player on the Celtics is playing as hard as they can to win every game.  But Stevens is trying to showcase certain players for trade optomization and to develop others in certain situations, which helps achieve a longer term objective.

So technically they are not trying to tank.

Rest assured that we legitimately stink.  We have No PG. No SG. An ambiguous SF. Developing PFs and a brand new NBA Center.  Talent wise... I really think we have the worst team in the league.

We came back tonight, so Brad put Bradley back at the point.

I call Bradley Top Five Pick because he will lead us there.
