Re: 2011 Mock Draft from Bleacher Report.com

    Nikola Mirotic (ref: NBA Draft.net)

    Strength:
Marksman shooting power forward ... Possesses tremendous amount of skill for a player of his age and height ... Has a strong scorers mentality ... An adept outside shooter who possesses a quick release and good form ... Has a mature game for his age as he is able to recognize a strong closeout from a defender and pump fake the defender and put it on the floor and go to the hole or take a one dribble mid-range jumper ... Is a good dribbler for a player his height ... Has long arms and has the nose for the ball and possesses good hands ... Has surprisingly good passing skills on the fast break for a player of his height ... Was one of the best International players at the 2010 Hoops Summit ...

Weaknesses: While he can run the floor and has some athleticism, he is not a speed demon nor does he possess good jumping ability ... While he is a tremendously skilled player he does not have any post moves and is a 6"10 player who gets most of his scoring opportunities from the perimeter or fast breaks ... Lacks the body strength to do much inside ... Needs to get stronger/tougher ..Most of his interior scoring is done on broken plays and offensive rebounds ... While his scoring ability is very advanced, he needs to focus on developing other aspects of his game so he can become a more complete player ... For a player with his talents he can disappear from time to time ...

Notes: A native of Montenegro, became a citizen of Spain in 2010 and played for the Bronze Medalist FIBA Europe Under-20 Spanish team leading the squad in scoring ...

If Jordan Willaims falls to 2nd round I would trade 2011 and 2012 2nd round picks to get him

Wow ... I'm impressed with Davis's 2.8 pt avg more over Tolliver ... but you said rebounding would be key and Davis failed at that and Tolliver came far cheaper ... So I lost a stupid bet that I pulled out of my azz to make a point and you still don't get it ... what else is new, you don't get anything! Seems that after the fact that we could have traded BBD preseason for a SF and done fine with Tolliver for less $ as BBD didn't show up for the playoffs anyway, right? But you won ... that's the important thing ... not the team right Mr Grizz!

I know KG has been a disappointment but he deserves to retire a Celtic.

If there's a deal that I would want to happen it would be Pierce for Rudy Gay. Pierce will make the Grizz a contender. Zach Randolph will be turning 30 in July so the Grizz have more or less a 3-4 year window of opportunity.

While it's true Rudy Gay would be a better player than Paul Pierce in the regular season, the playoffs is a different story. Pierce still has 2 good years left in him. It would make sense for the Grizz. And the Grizz would save some money, 19m for the additional year on Gay's contract, if they did this trade.

Thanks for wanting to close our window and open it for the Grizz ... Your True Colors are showing .... Crickets for you!

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: 2011 Mock Draft from Bleacher Report.com : The reason why I can't use Fierce34 is the moderators on this board banned that account for posting something inapproriate. I have no excuses for it, I made a mistake. The consequence for my actions was the suspension of my old account. That's why I had to make this account so that I can post again. I did nothing illegal.  The difference between you and I is if did something wrong I'm man enough to accept the consequences. You on the other hand lost a bet and you refuse to honor it. You keep making excuses and you even went to the extent of denying that we had a bet!

Then keep posting and pulling the same crap that you do with me and others ... you're still a stalker and as Rondowski said, a wanna be bully. Not with me pal!

Not buying the pick! A number of talented college players are coming out early. The C's need a young athletic big, who can step-in and immediately play meaningful minutes.

Young athletic bigs generally are not available when the Cs are drafting and if they are then there is a 3 year wait for them to develop - see D Jordan.
