    8 for 8 with 25 & 55

In order of preference here our my picks for #25:

    1) http://www.nbadraft.net/players/nikola-vucevic
                 /> Just play him Doc!

    2) http://www.nbadraft.net/players/kenneth-faried
/> Rebounds?  Dennis RodmanII will do should he slide

    3) http://www.nbadraft.net/players/marshon-brooks
/> He'd make AB expendable if Indy, NY and Houston pass

    4) http://www.nbadraft.net/players/trey-thompkins
/> The heart says Harper but Trey has a post game

    5) http://www.nbadraft.net/players/justin-harper
                 /> A real possibility @ #25

    6) http://www.nbadraft.net/players/tyler-honeycutt
/> UCLA doesn't promote individual play, a possible sleeper pick here

    7) http://www.nbadraft.net/players/jeremy-tyler
/> Could be the guy if Doc's willing to develop him (Where's Clifford Ray)

    8) http://www.nbadraft.net/players/jajuan-johnson
/> Seems to be underrated, 1st round isn't out of the question

I think #4, 5, 6, or 7 are real possibilities for the C's sans a trade for a veteran or a higher pick. Danny's thrown all sorts of names out there trying to redirect attention from the player he is really interested in ... I'm guessing Justin Harper.

Eight 2nd round possibilities: Without moving up, Hopson & Flowers may be the only ones still cruising @ 55 though.

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/keith-benson
/> All this guy needs is Conditioning, Conditioning & more Conditioning

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/jimmy-butler

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/malcolm-lee

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/jon-leuer

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/chandler-parsons

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/jordan-williams

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/scotty-hopson

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/gary-flowers

The C's have worked out 47 draftees, fifth behind DC, NY, NJ & NC as follows:

    C /> 7
    PF /> 11
    SF /> 5
    SG /> 9
    PG /> 15

Sure looks like Danny's on the hunt for another PG ... No comment. Here are a few of the more obscure players he's had in for a look:

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/greg-smith
/> Jordan Williams but equipped with the widest hands ever measured (1')

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/ravern-johnson
/> Spot-up three point shooter in the mold of Todd Day

    http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Terrence-Jennings-5097/
/> Danny had him in twice (???)

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/vernon-macklin
/> He'll be 25 in Sept, poor FT shooter, poor rebounder, no mid range game

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/jamie-skeen
/> VCU leader,  “stretch” power forward, good low post scorer/defender,
poor rebounder and undersized for the position

On draft day last year, i predicted Bradley. This year i'm going with Justin Harper!! Do it Danny, if you don't Dallas will!!

I say go for Brooks if he slides that far(which I doubt).  If not we need to go big.  JuJuan Johnson might be a good pickup.  Tyler could be a good pick if he is not the total headcase I have heard him to be.  Or Justin Harper is another good one.  I am also liking what I am hearing about Faried.  Bottom line though is whoever we draft he will ride the pine unless Doc is forced to play him.

Doc may have no choice this season ... the cubboard is bare right now!

Danny has his work cut out for himself ... he needs to utilize this draft, the MLE & LLE as well as that $2.5M Trade Exception we have before it expires.

    Re: 8 for 8 with 25 & 55

A comments regarding Brooks based on John Hollingers "Draft Rater" by a numbers crunching Knick fan worried they will pick Brooks @ 17:

"Probably the most suspect candidate, according to Draft Rater, is Marshon Brooks; his 7.88 rating was 27th among perimeter players. The Providence guard put up huge stats, but his average is hugely padded by two factors: First, the Friars played the fastest pace of any major Division I team; second, Brooks played nearly every minute of every game, averaging 36.5 per game -- remember, they play only 40 in college. Let all the air out and his numbers look a lot more ordinary -- his usage rate, which is his most alluring stat, ranks only ninth among prospects. Given his age (22 and five months) and his relative inefficiency, I'm not sure there's a ton to see here. Draft Rater sees him as a second rounder."

Here's a look at the Bigs based on the Draft Rater System:

Top-rated Big Men - Player Rating

    Tristan Thompson 16.21
    Derrick Williams 15.97
    Tobias Harris 14.83
Jon Leuer 13.47             < Sleeper Pick
    Nikola Vucevic 13.32
    Greg Smith 12.93
             < Sleeper Pick
    Jordan Williams 11.87
    Rick Jackson 11.65
    JaJuan Johnson 11.54
    Malcolm Thomas 11.29
    Marcus Morris 10.93
    Matt Howard 10.49
    Trey Thompkins 10.44
    Kenneth Faried 10.25
    Jamie Skeen 10.17
    Markieff Morris 10.03
    Justin Harper 9.58

Don't you think we can do better than that (Przybilla-Collins-Brown) with the LLE not to mention that Erden wants to go home?

Most NBA ready of those available are:

    Harper /> great shooter

    Johnson /> A Big

Thompkins /> terrific post player (we need one)

    Hamilton /> Another decent SG/SF

PS: Bye Bye Brooks but we really need a Big and Johnson & Thompkins were the best options

WHERE ARE YOU?? LOL! Weren't you the one that was so confident that Perk and/or BBD weren't going anywhere?? Ainge wasn't trying to trade? Why fix something that's not broken? I kept telling you that Ainge ALWAYS makes deals...ALWAYS at the deadline. Why people thought he wasn't going to do anything is perplexing to me.

Of course they would. Ray and KG returns for vet's minimum then hopefully joining them would be Dwight and Austin Rivers.

Lying again ... I never said either of those guys were coming ... everyone on these boards knows that. My own post listed 8 players that I liked. In another thread Harper had already been picked so I went with Thompkins .... all for FUN Perv34 and you were afraid to play cause you had no clue!

Regarding your "actual post" ... how many times will a fraud play that card? You and everyone here knows your posts as P34/Fierce34 were deleted from the BDC boards when you were suspended for your ?? time. Shows the quality of your character.

Ohhh, now your correct cause we also got a bonus 2nd round pick in 2014 for moving down two spots .... FRAUD!
